Volleyball Recap: Imperial Tigers vs. Escondido Charter Tigers

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Saturday. Imperial walked away with a 2-0 win over Escondido Charter. The victory was familiar territory for Imperial, who have now won three matches in a row.
Maddie Magdaleno paced Imperial's offense, picking up seven kills. Magdaleno got some help from Penny Rosas and her eight assists. Maci-Jo Clayton controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Imperial's win bumped their record up to 16-13. As for Escondido Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 18-10.
Coincidentally, Imperial and Escondido Charter will both be playing Morse the next time they take the court. Escondido Charter will head out to face Morse at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Imperial will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
