Recap: Cordova Lancers vs. Johnson Warriors
The Cordova Lancers waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They strolled past Johnson with points to spare, taking the game 68-52. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cordova also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Cordova's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Baron Sabir, who scored 16 points. Malachi Gorman was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Cordova has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season. As for Johnson, they now have a losing record at 12-13.

One thing working in Cordova's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. As for Johnson, they will be playing at home against Foothill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Foothill is coming into the game with four straight victories on the road, meaning Johnson will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory.
