Football Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for Golden Valley + How To Watch

Golden Valley gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They secured a 14-10 W over the Canyon Cowboys. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Grizzlies also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Golden Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dereck Guevara, who rushed for 126 yards and one touchdown. Joseph Lewis was another key rusher, rushing for 109 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Golden Valley was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 307 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.
