Softball Recap: Le Grand's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Le Grand couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Argonaut Mustangs on Saturday. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in May of 2015.

Le Grand saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Crystal Manzo, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

With the defeat, Le Grand broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 23-8. As for Argonaut, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 24-5.

As of now, neither Le Grand nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
