Whitley County has gone 9-1 against Pulaski County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Whitley County Colonels will welcome the Pulaski County Maroons at 6:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Pulaski County will be up against a hot Whitley County squad: the team just extended their winning streak to 13. Whitley County came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against George Rogers Clark. Three seems to be a good number for the Colonels as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Kip Allen looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

On the hitting side, Whitley County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Mountjoy, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Pulaski County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Wayne County 2-1. The Maroons haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Whitley County skirted past Pulaski County 3-2 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Does Whitley County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pulaski County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
