Softball Recap: Bingham Comes Up Short

If Bingham was feeling good fresh off their 17-10 takedown of Mountain Ridge on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Miners fell just short of the Copper Hills Grizzlies by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Miners were not able to get on the board.

Bingham's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Copper Hills, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Bingham is set to square off against their familiar foe Riverton at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Copper Hills will take on rival Westlake at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
