Basketball Recap: Tintic Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Tintic and Milford squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Tintic had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 51-22 loss at the hands of the Milford Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 34-30 back in December of 2024.

Milford's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hadley Griffiths led the charge by putting up 12 points. Griffiths continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Jaidyn Mcmullin was another key player, going 6-for-10 en route to 15 points and five assists.

Tintic has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season. Milford's record now sits at 12-13.

Tintic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Milford, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 45-26 win against Escalante on the 28th.
