Softball Recap: Wellington-Napoleon Comes Up Short

Wellington-Napoleon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 10-1 to the Adrian Blackhawks. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Blackhawks this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-0 defeat on Friday.

Wellington-Napoleon's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Adrian, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season.

Wellington-Napoleon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 17-0 defeat against Skyline on the 25th. As for Adrian, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-2 loss against Lamar on the 25th.
