It's playoff time, and Hesston had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Beloit Trojans get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Swathers, who have now won 12 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Tim Rhodes was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two doubles. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Andrew Huxman was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Hesston was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Hesston's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Beloit, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-8-1.

As of now, neither Hesston nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
