Basketball Game Preview: West Fork Gators vs. Cleveland Indians

The West Fork Gators will be taking part in a tournament against the Cleveland Indians at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

While West Fork didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-28), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They strolled past Crockett with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 65-50. That's two games straight that the Gators have won by exactly 15 points.

Meanwhile, Cleveland can finally bid farewell to their 21-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 64-51 win over Caney Creek. The Indians' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The victory made it two in a row for West Fork and bumps their season record up to 6-3. As for Cleveland, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.
