Football Recap: Flinthills Mustangs vs. Chase County Bulldogs
Flinthills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 56-6 loss at the hands of the Chase County Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly 50 points.
Flinthills' loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Chase County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Flinthills will host Madison/Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Madison/Hamilton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Flinthills likes a good challenge. As for Chase County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northern Heights on Friday. Chase County will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
