Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lindsay). Everything went their way against the Perrin-Whitt Pirates on Friday as Lindsay made off with an 18-3 victory. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 5-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The win made it two in a row for Lindsay and bumps their season record up to 6-4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Perrin-Whitt, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Lindsay will head out on the road to face off against Callisburg at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Perrin-Whitt, they will welcome Saint Jo at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
