Volleyball Recap: Cabrina Vanderford and Sophia Green Secure Win for Clear Falls

Clear Falls won the last time they faced Ellison and things went their way on Friday too. The Knights walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles.

Clear Falls easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-8.

Leading Clear Falls to victory were Sophia Green and Cabrina Vanderford. Green had seven digs and four aces, while Vanderford had six digs and one assist. Green is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Clear Falls' record now sits at 4-1. As for Ellison, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Clear Falls didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Troy on the 15th. As for Ellison, they will face off against Rock Hill at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
