Basketball Recap: Greenville H Hurricanes vs. LKY Saints
Greenville H saw some tournament action on Thursday. They walked away with a 78-65 win over the LKY Saints. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hurricanes.
Several Saints players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Braylyn Collins, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 17 points and four steals. Those four steals gave Collins a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ezekiel Taylor, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds.
Greenville H now has a winning record of 19-18. As for LKY, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 14-22 record.
Looking ahead, Greenville H and Palmetto HomeSchool will face off at 8:30 a.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Greenville H has given up an average of 54.9 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. LKY does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
