While Cooper's fans didn't get a definitive result on Thursday, they were treated to the team's highest-scoring tie of the season. They and the Odessa Bronchos finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

With that draw, Cooper's record moves to 4-3-4. As for Odessa, they moved theirs to 3-5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Cooper will square off against Polytechnic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Odessa, they won't get a chance for a more definitive result for a while: they'll take on Permian at 5:30 p.m. on February 3. This will be Odessa's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
