Baseball Recap: La Villa Cardinals vs. Monte Alto Blue Devil

La Villa won the last time they faced Monte Alto and things went their way on Friday too. The La Villa Cardinals were the clear victor by a 12-4 margin over the Monte Alto Blue Devil. Considering the Cardinals have won three contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Robert Gonzalez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Gonzalez was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.
