Softball Recap: Valencia Comes Up Short

Valencia's tournament run continued when they took on Walnut on Saturday. The Tigers came up short against the Mustangs, falling 10-3. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valencia saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elizabeth Nunez, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Valencia's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Walnut, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Valencia has already played their next matchup, an 8-4 win against Tustin on the 24th. As for Walnut, they will venture away from home to square off against Claremont at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
