Soccer Recap: Panther Creek Takes a Loss

While losing is never fun, Panther Creek can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 290th, while Apex Friendship are ranked 36th).

Panther Creek hit Apex Friendship with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Erin Barrett, Ella Smith, and Olivia Trantas.

Panther Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Apex Friendship, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-5-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Panther Creek will host Seaforth at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Apex Friendship, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cary at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Apex Friendship are facing Cary at the right time seeing as Cary are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
