While Brandon's win against Clio wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blackhawks slipped by the Mustangs 57-56 on Friday. That's two games straight that the Blackhawks have won by just one point.

When it comes to explaining why Clio lost, don't look at D'Marion Erlenbeck. Despite the final result, he rushed for 172 yards and four scores while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 120 yards and three TDs. Another player making a difference was Jayden Kohn, who gained 101 total yards and two touchdowns.

The victory (which was Brandon's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.3 points over those games. As for Clio, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 4-2.
