Brody Metting Dazzles in Yorktown Win

Starting off the list is Yorktown's Brody Metting, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Metting rushed for 258 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per carry. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

The win got Yorktown back to even at 1-1. Metting and Yorktown will be playing in front of their home fans against Skidmore-Tynan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Johnson Came Up Big in Falls City's 51-13 Loss

Rounding off our Top Five is Braylon Johnson of Falls City. Johnson rushed for 79 yards on only 11 carries, and also threw for 65 yards and a touchdown.

Falls City's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2. Johnson and Falls City will host Stockdale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
