Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Shyla Rodriguez and Ariana Troyer Lead Tampa Bay HEAT to Victory

It's playoff time, and Tampa Bay HEAT had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lakeland Christian Vikings on Tuesday. Tampa Bay HEAT hasn't had any issues with Lakeland Christian recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Tampa Bay HEAT was led to victory by Ariana Troyer and Shyla Rodriguez. Troyer had seven aces and five digs, while Rodriguez had ten assists and six digs. Those seven aces gave Troyer a new career-high.

Tampa Bay HEAT's record now sits at 19-7. As for Lakeland Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 9-17.

Looking ahead, Tampa Bay HEAT will take on Seffner Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lakeland Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
