Volleyball Recap: Denver East Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Denver South, Denver East was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Conifer Lobos 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Angels have posted since August 30th.

Denver East's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Conifer, they moved to 13-4 with that loss, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

Coincidentally, Denver East and Conifer will both be playing Heritage the next time they take the court. The Lobos will head out to face the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Angels will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
