Preview: Daviess County Panthers vs. Evansville Central Bears
After three games on the road, Daviess County is heading back home. They will take on the Evansville Central Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Evansville Central took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Daviess County, who comes in off a win.
Even though South Warren scored an imposing 57 points on Saturday, Daviess County still came out on top. Daviess County took down South Warren 74-57.
Meanwhile, Evansville Central had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 32-22 to Terre Haute North Vigo on Friday.
Despite their loss, Evansville Central saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Zaryen Moore, who scored 11 points along with 3 steals, was perhaps the best of all. Landyn Richason was another key contributor, scoring 3 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Daviess County now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Evansville Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
