Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fowler). Their defense stepped up to hand the Fresno Christian Eagles an 8-0 shutout on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Fowler's offense was hitting Fresno Christian from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Marcos Mondragon led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The victory was the third in a row for Fowler, bringing their record for this year to 5-8-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three games. As for Fresno Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.
