Volleyball Recap: Xavier Has No Trouble Against Norwich Free Academy

Xavier won the last time they faced Norwich Free Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Falcons put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 25-17.

Bennett Chiappetta paced Xavier's offense, picking up 14 kills. Chiappetta got some help from Elijah Barnhart and his 32 assists. Chiappetta was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Xavier's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-9. As for Norwich Free Academy, they moved to 10-8 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Coming up, Xavier will head out on the road to square off against Shelton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Norwich Free Academy, they will square off against New Britain at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
