Puckett had won eight straight home games dating back to last season and Caili McAfee did her part to make it nine on Thursday. The Wolves walked away with a 47-35 win over the Stringer Red Devils for which the team can thank McAfee, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 16 boards. Her evening made it eight games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points.

Puckett's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Stringer, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Puckett is taking a road trip to take on West Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears' defense has only allowed 29 points per game this season, so the Wolves' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Stringer, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 43-38 win against Sylva Bay Academy on the 5th.
