Volleyball Recap: Cedar Springs' Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Cedar Springs had to endure a five-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Zion Christian Mountaineers on Thursday.

Cedar Springs easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17.

Kendall Fisk paced Cedar Springs' offense, picking up six kills. Fisk got some help from Jessie Teesdale and her 15 assists. Fisk was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Cedar Springs' victory bumped their record up to 5-18-3. As for Zion Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11-1.

Looking ahead, Cedar Springs will face off against Sparta at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Zion Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against Muskegon Catholic Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
