Volleyball Game Preview: Orange Panthers vs. Loara Saxons

The Orange Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Loara Saxons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Thursday, Orange came up short against Santa Ana and fell 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Saints: they've now lost five in a row.

Orange started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-22, 25-8, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Loara lost 3-0 to Los Amigos on Thursday.

The 3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23, 25-22.

Loara has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. Orange's loss dropped their record down to 4-14.
