Harker Heights is 8-2 against Temple since November of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Harker Heights Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Temple Wildcats at 7:00 p.m.

Harker Heights is headed into Friday's game hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-49 heartbreaker at the hands of Grapevine. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Knights came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 147th, while the Mustangs are ranked 334th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Temple, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 31-18 victory over Wills Point on Saturday.

Temple's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Harker Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 16-9.

Harker Heights beat Temple 41-30 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Harker Heights repeat their success, or does Temple have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
