Baseball Recap: Canby Lancers vs. Ortonville Trojans

Canby came into Tuesday's contest having lost 16 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Ortonville Trojans on Tuesday as the Canby Lancers made off with an 8-1 win. Canby's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Colton Ruether made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). Ruether was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
