Soccer Game Preview: Marshall vs. Cleburne

The Marshall Mavericks will be taking part in a tournament against the Cleburne Yellowjackets at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday. Marshall's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Marshall is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over Farmersville on Friday.

Meanwhile, Cleburne was not able to secure the win in their season-opener on Friday. They and Horn finished up their match with a 2-2 draw.

Nabor Santana was the only thing that stood between Cleburne and a shutout considering he scored both of Cleburne's goals.

The victory got Marshall back to even at 2-2-1. With that draw, Cleburne's record moves to 0-0-1.
