Volleyball Game Preview: Goleman Gators vs. Belen Jesuit Wolverines

The Goleman Gators are taking a road trip to face off against the Belen Jesuit Wolverines at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Belen Jesuit took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Goleman, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Goleman made easy work of Reagan and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gators.

The victory didn't come easy: Reagan scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-21, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Belen Jesuit came up short against St. Thomas Aquinas on Wednesday and fell 3-1.

While Belen Jesuit had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 23-25, 25-22.

Belen Jesuit's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Goleman, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Goleman couldn't quite get it done against Belen Jesuit in their previous meeting back in March of 2025 as they fell 3-1. Can the Gators avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
