Basketball Recap: Florida School for the Deaf & Blind Takes a Loss

Florida School for the Deaf & Blind was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 58-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warner Christian Academy Eagles. If the Dragons were looking for revenge after losing 51-32 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Warner Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ashton Flores, who posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Breydon Flores, who earned 15 points.

Florida School for the Deaf & Blind's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Warner Christian Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Florida School for the Deaf & Blind wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 52-39 defeat against River City Science Academy on the 10th. Warner Christian Academy has also already played their next contest, a 74-48 victory against Burns Sci-Tech on the 6th.
