Madison ?May? Applegarth posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. She struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up a single walk in six consecutive appearances.
