Preview: Homedale Trojans vs. Kimberly Bulldogs
Homedale is 0-6 against Kimberly since February of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Homedale Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Kimberly Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Homedale has not done well against Baker recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Homedale secured a 51-46 W over Baker.
Homedale found their leader in underclassman Kierstley Roseborough, who scored 28 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Roseborough has scored at least 25% of Homedale's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Arlett Quezada, who scored 1 points along with 6 assists and 5 steals.
Meanwhile, Kimberly earned a 55-44 win over Homedale on Tuesday.
Homedale has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Kimberly, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Homedale came up short against Kimberly in their previous matchup on Tuesday, falling 55-44. Can Homedale avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
