Volleyball Game Preview: Trinity Valley Trojans vs. St. Andrew's Highlanders

The Trinity Valley Trojans are taking a road trip to challenge the St. Andrew's Highlanders at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Trinity Valley came up short against Hockaday on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Trinity Valley was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23, 25-19.

Meanwhile, St. Andrew's had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They blew past the Royals 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: St. Andrew's took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-8, 25-14.

St. Andrew's win bumped their record up to 28-9. As for Trinity Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Trinity Valley beat St. Andrew's 3-1 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Highlanders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
