            Volleyball Recap: Narraguagus Knights vs. Woodland Dragons        
        
		
        
        
            Narraguagus gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener  on Thursday. They came out on top against the Woodland Dragons by a score of  3-1. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive  win against them.
 Narraguagus had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-16, 25-10,  25-10.
Narraguagus' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Kaitlyn Grant, who  had six  digs, six  aces,  and two  blocks. Those  two  blocks gave  Grant a new career-high.

 Grant wasn't the only good server: Narraguagus  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 27  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least 16  aces in five consecutive  matchups  dating back to last season.
 Looking ahead, Narraguagus will be playing at home against Jonesport-Beals  at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Woodland, they will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sumner at 5:30  p.m.  on  the 19th.
