Baseball Recap: Johnsonburg Comes Up Short

Johnsonburg managed to slip by Brockway the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rams lost 14-4 to the Rovers on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that the Rams have lost by exactly ten runs.

Parker Calla was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Rocco Delhunty, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Johnsonburg's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Brockway, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Johnsonburg will venture away from home to square off against Cameron County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Brockway, they will welcome Clarion-Limestone at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
