After a string of four wins, King/Drew's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Triumph Charter Jaguars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Eagles of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

King/Drew's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Triumph Charter, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

King/Drew wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Los Angeles on the 20th. As for Triumph Charter, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Grant on the 20th.
