Basketball Recap: Freedom Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

After losing to Battlefield the last time they met, Freedom decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Freedom Eagles took down the Battlefield Bobcats 44-27 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Freedom is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Battlefield, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-8 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Freedom will venture away from home to take on Osbourn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Freedom is facing Osbourn at the right time seeing as Osbourn is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Battlefield, they will take on Seton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Seton will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Battlefield surely won't give up without a fight.
