Basketball Recap: Judge Memorial Catholic's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Judge Memorial Catholic needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Makena Gardner. The Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs greeted the New Year with with a 55-39 win over the Cyprus Pirates thanks in part to Gardner, who posted 12 points. That's the most points she has posted since back in February of 2024.

Judge Memorial Catholic's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8. As for Cyprus, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Judge Memorial Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 59-28 loss against Grantsville on the 3rd. Cyprus has also already played their next contest, a 52-16 defeat against Fremont on the 3rd.
