Recap: Lyon County Lyons vs. Calloway County Lakers
The Lyon County Lyons lost against the Calloway County Lakers back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Lyon County took a 68-50 bruising from Calloway County. Lyon County has struggled against Calloway County recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Calloway County to victory were Jaidan Koch and Sayler Lowe. Koch scored 20 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds, while Lowe scored 27 points along with 8 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Koch has scored at least 25% of Calloway County's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaycee Crouch, who scored 11 points.
Lyon County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Calloway County, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lyon County's road trip will continue as they head out to face Livingston Central at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. As for Calloway County, they will square off against Trinity at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
