For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Rebels have suffered since February 20, 2024.

Robert C. Byrd will have to contain Rae Rupert as she made an impact in Ritchie County's last game. She went 5-for-11 on her way to 13 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. The dominant performance also gave Rupert a new career-high in shooting accuracy (45%). Another player making a difference was Chelsie Jeffrey, who posted eight points.

Robert C. Byrd has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season. As for Ritchie County, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
