Baseball Recap: Labette County Comes Up Short

Labette County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 6-2 to the Burlington Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 on Monday.

Labette County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kamden Good, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Labette County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Burlington, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-2.

Labette County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-1 loss against Pittsburg on the 5th. Burlington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
