You can't lose the contest if you win every quarter, and that was precisely the Southern Nash Firebirds's strategy against the Bunn Wildcats on Tuesday. Southern Nash enjoyed a cozy 69-54 victory over Bunn. That's another feather in the cap for Southern Nash, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Leading Southern Nash to victory were George Richardson and Israel Whitaker. Richardson dropped a double-double on 17 points and 17 rebounds, while Whitaker scored 30 points along with seven rebounds. It was the first time this season that Richardson scored 15 or more points.
