Football Preview: Ridge Red Devil vs. Westfield Blue Devils
Ridge and Westfield are an even 4-4 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Red Devil are taking a road trip to square off against the Blue Devils at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ridge will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Ridge is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat North Brunswick 57-20. With the Red Devil ahead 36-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to C.J. Griffith and Nick Pfennig. Griffith rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries while Pfennig rushed for 111 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries. Griffith has become a key player for Ridge: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise. Gregory Brown made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Ridge was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 343 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 215 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.
