Basketball Recap: Central Heights Comes Up Short

Central Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 57-37 to the Kansas City Christian School Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-19 back in December of 2024.

Central Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Kansas City Christian School, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Coming up, Central Heights is taking a road trip to face off against Waverly at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kansas City Christian School, they will host Northland Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
