Pinson Valley put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past the Tarrant Wildcats to the tune of 72-41.

Pinson Valley found their leader in sophomore Elijah 'Eli' Allen, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. Allen has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 75% every time he's hit the court this season. Another player making a difference was Tyler 'Ty' Holifield, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds.

Pinson Valley's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Tarrant, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Pinson Valley and Homewood will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Tarrant, they and Paul W. Bryant will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. The Wildcats will be up against the Stampede's rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.8 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
