Paul VI won the last time they faced Shawnee and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Renegades 4-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Paul VI's record is now 8-6. As for Shawnee, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Looking ahead, Paul VI will host Bishop Eustace Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Crusaders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.4 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Shawnee, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Cherry Hill West on the 29th.
