Volleyball Recap: McDowell Comes Up Short + How To Watch

McDowell was the 3-0 winner over Alexander Central when they last played one another back in December of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans lost 3-0 to the Cougars on Thursday. Titans fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Cougars since Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 25-15.

McDowell's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Alexander Central, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, McDowell will venture away from home to square off against Mitchell at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Alexander Central, they will host Watauga at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
